First "leader" of the Republic of Paraguay. Ran the country without opposition from 1814 when he gained power untill 1840. Created the worlds first state socialism by closing all boarders and re-directing all funds into the countries defence. His main purpose was to keep Paraguay independent from anyone that wanted to take it over.
